Sauk Prairie schools current enrolls 2,795 4K-12 students residing within its 240-square mile service area, which includes the three villages of Merrimac, Prairie du Sac and Sauk City, and all or part of 13 towns.  The district has seven school buildings, all updated and improved during the last decade.
