SWEAT: a play about the reality of the American Dream
The New York Public Theater's Mobil Unit in conjunction with the Sauk City and Ruth Culver libraries is bringing the play, Sweat to the Sauk Prairie area.
Sweat, by Lynn Nottage won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for drama. The play is about the working class people of Reading, Pennsylvania and deals with poverty, downsizing, and job cuts.
Sweat will be preformed at the Sauk Prairie Community Center.
All are welcome, ages 16+.
Estimated run-time: Play runs 2 hours with one 15-minute intermission and will immediately be followed by a post-show conversation.
