    Job Description
    SP Fitness is looking to bring on 1 full time employee 5am-noon or 6am-1pm M-F. And 1 Saturday per month 6an-9am or 7-10am. Also will be open to hiring part time independent contractors for Personal Training and Fitness Instructors. A full time employee would have a combination of training clients, classes and cleaning the studio. Position starting at $15 - $22 per hour. Plus get paid per class participant on top of your hourly rate (pay rate is based on experience and qualifications). Seeking certified personal trainers to work with clients to develop and execute a plan that will help the client reach their personal goals. The goal of being a personal trainer at SP Fitness is to create an unforgettable experience for the client and to put “personal” back into personal training. Job Expectation: You must obtain and maintain your CPR and First Aid certificate every 2 years. You must obtain and maintain your continued education on a bi-yearly basis to maintain your professional certifications. You will be required to provide monthly assessments on your clients. Education: Certification as a personal trainer from a nationally recognized accredited certifying organization (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, and CPT) are preferred OR a B.S degree in exercise science or a related field. Schedule: Full time: 5am-noon or 6am-1pm Monday-Friday, rotating Saturday morning shift (1x per month) 6-9am or 7-10am Additional Requirements: Clients need to feel respected and to get the results they need and want, in a consistent, fun and effective way Demonstrate and instruct proper use of equipment with regards to muscle stabilization, body alignment and execution Responsible for the safety of participates in regards to heart rate, exercise technique, posture, as well as joint stress and stability when resistance training Build client rapport, and maintain required performance levels Must have the ability to progress and regress exercises in real time Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills. Push and help motivate clients to achieve their desired health goals. Must have the desire and capacity to train all fitness levels, novice to elite.
