In 2005, the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Village of Prairie du Sac, Village of Sauk City, Sauk County Development Corporation, Alliant Energy, Wisconsin Public Power, and a host of Sauk Prairie businesses to conduct a Sauk Prairie Area Market Analysis. This study was done to support the economic development goals of the riverway community.  Due to the evolving nature of the community marketplace, a re-assesment of market opportunities is planned for 2012.
