Sauk City has developed Downtown Design Guidelines, and has a matching grant program for façade and sign improvements in the downtown business district.

The Village of Sauk City developed an Office Park on a 29 acre parcel located at the corner of River and Leuders Roads. The Prairie du Sac Library was recently gifted the Culver Franchising Sytem, Inc. building by Craig and Lea Culver.  The new library will be know as the Ruth Culver Community Library and is expected to open in 2011.
