CAMP GLOW is a grief support camp intended for pre-teens & teens ages 10-17 who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Whether it is the loss of a friend, parent, grandparent, sibling or other loved one, kids and teens often experience and express grief differently than adults. Camp GLOW is a grief support day camp designed to give children a safe place to share their feelings and concerns through a range of activities focused on helping them deal with their grief. Activities include scrapbooking, writing letters to their loved one, and memory boxes that can be stained or painted, and are meant to hold items of sentimental value to the kids, remembrances of their loved one. Camp Glow is provided FREE of charge thanks to the support of Home Health United - Visiting Nurse Service Foundation.
