Holiday Open House

Happy Holidays from River Arts on Water!  Join us for our holiday open house on Friday, December 13th and 14th from 10am-5pm at 590 Water Street, Prairie du Sac, WI.  Enter to win show tickets, gift certificates and select artwork!

But that’s not all! Meet gallery artist Georgia Weithe as she talks about her inspirations and beautiful silver and gold jewelry from 5pm-6pm on December 13th at River Arts on Water.  This event is free and open to the public.

“We are all originals, but we are taught to value how much like everyone else we are, and so our uniqueness is trained out of us. For me, making jewelry has been a process of self discovery. It has helped me get in touch with a part of my heart that was never given a chance to speak or be heard. I will share some reflections on my creative process, and on the creative potential within all of us.”  -Georgia

Then come back at 7pm that same evening for a musical variety house concert featuring Marita Kelter and friends from the Sauk Prairie community.  The night will include jazzy holiday favorites, Celtic tunes, Points of Light Chorus, and a short play about the winter solstice!  No advanced tickets required, donations at the door appreciated!  This event is sponsored by EJ Movement.

Finally, on Saturday, December 14th, visit the gallery for free samples of Darling Chocolatier’s chocolates and Willie’s Market biscotti.  Your mouth will be watering as you choose from the River Arts Bar: Act One (Macadamia Nuts, Caramel, Candied Ginger, Dark Hawaiian Chocolate) or the River Arts Bar: Act Two (Almonds, Salted Caramel, Tart Door County Cherries, Dark Hawaiian Chocolate).  For Biscotti, enjoy flavors like Pumpkin Pecan Spice, Espresso Almond, Maple Walnut and more!  These make great, unique stocking stuffers! (If they make it to the stocking!)
