Sauk Prairie Bird Week
Join us for a full week of Sauk Prairie Bird events!
Sauk Prairie Migratory Bird Day - Saturday, April 27. 7:00am - 11:00am.
Two activity stations will be set up along the Sauk Prairie Riverway: VFW Park and Lueders Road Canoe Launch. There will be migration games, bird identification, and seasoned birders talking to you about landscaping for birds, avoiding window strikes, and more!
All Week Events
Stop by the libraries and local businesses for special events and bird supply specials. Join us for three bird watching walks. 5:30am - 7:00am each of the following days:
Saturday, April 27 - Wollersheim Winery
Tuesday, April 30 - VFW Park
Thursday, May 2 - Lueders Road Canoe Launch
Sauk Prairie Birdathon
Check out www.wibirdathon.org and head to the Sauk Prairie Bird City Team's webpage to participate. Collect pledges and go birding! Half of the donations go to local Bird City activities and half go to statewide bird conservation initiatives.
