The Sauk City Library is participating as a site in the Wisconsin Science Festival, Friday, October 23 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. We will have a real-life robot on display with robot books for all ages available for checkout. Stop in to build your very own simple robot. You can also see our new 3D printer in action. Learn about how 3D printing works and get hands-on experience. Print a key chain or other small item to take home with you! We'll also have equipment and props for making brief stop motion animations.
The Wisconsin Science Festival is a multi-day public event presented by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation in partnership with various organizations, including the Sauk City Public Library. The festival welcomes people of all ages to look, listen, feel, touch, taste and discover the wonders of all aspects of the sciences, arts and more through interactive exhibits, hands-on workshops, lectures, demonstrations, and conversations with leading researchers and creative thinkers. For a schedule of participating sites, activities, and more information, visit www.wisconsinsciencefest.org.
