    POSITION DESCRIPTION
     
     
    Administrative and Education Assistant
    The Wisconsin Collaborative for Rural Graduate Medical Education (WCRGME), a program of RWHC, is recruiting for an Administrative and Education Assistant.  This position will provide support to the Rural Graduate Medical Education Director and Program Coordinators. The ideal candidate will work both independently and in collaboration with the department staff to perform general administrative duties and assist in planning and coordinating details of events such as committee meetings, conferences, and workshops. 
     
     
    POSITION SUMMARY:
     
    The Administrative and Education Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Rural Graduate Medical Education (GME) Director and Program Coordinators of the Wisconsin Collaborative for Rural GME (WCRGME), a program of RWHC.
     
     
    Responsibilities

    • General administrative duties
    • Assist in coordinating WCRGME meetings and conferences
    • Assist with educational programs and conferences
    • Assist with trade conferences
    • Update Active Sites List and work with Marketing Specialist to update WCRGME Sites map
    • Assist with annual Rural Health Day promotional mailer
    • Maintain files (both computer and non-computer) in an organized manner for easy access.
     
    SCHEDULE:  Part-time to full-time position. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am -4:30 pm.  Schedule negotiable at hire.
     
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
     

    Education

    •   High school diploma, associate degree preferred.

     

    Experience

    •   Minimum of three years experience in related field required, experience in healthcare field preferred.
    •   Experience coordinating educational conferences or other event planning is preferred.
    •   Education and/or experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.  Website maintenance experience preferred.
