Draftsperson/Estimator

Job Description: 

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by the architect or designers. The Draftsperson will play a crucial role in translating concepts and ideas into precise and detailed drawings that will guide the construction or manufacturing process. The ability to work independently self-motivation is a must. 

Responsibilities:  

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using Chief Architect. 

• Collaborate with the architect and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications. 

• Draw existing conditions and make drawing revisions as needed based on team members or clients' feedback. 

• Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and revisions. 

• Assist in preparing project estimates and material lists as needed, assisting with site measures, and apply for permits 

• Calculate the required quantity of materials based on project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings. 

• Prepare detailed material take-offs, cost breakdowns, and reports for review and approval. Maintain accurate records of material estimates, changes, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure that project requirements are met, and deadlines are adhered to.
