AWS Certified Welding Inspector/Tower Climber

Edge Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a certified welding inspector position at our Prairie du Sac location.  As a part of our team, you will work closely with our telecommunications engineering group to perform tower maintenance and condition assessments; inspect tower modification, inspect water tower installations, and utilize unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).  To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Level II NDE Certification in MT/UT
• An affinity for climbing and heights
• Willingness to be a part of a team, be safety focused, demonstrate accuracy in report preparation, photo documentation & inventory reporting
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.  Travel and field work are required.
• Strong organization, communication and computer skills are desired
• Be hard working and have the ability to work independently and learn quickly
