    Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Civil Engineering Technician to become an integral member of our Wireless Telecommunications team. This is a full-time position based in our Prairie du Sac, WI office.  You will be working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry assisting our Telecommunications team with the compilation of data, review, and writing of various inspection reports and 3D modeling of cellular towers located nationwide.
    Primary responsibilities:

    • Write comprehensive technical inspection reports, including reviewing/auditing field data and photos, paying careful attention to details and manufacturing/client specifications; explain any deviations and remediation needed to bring into compliance
    • Create 3D models of cellular towers for both internal and external client use
    • Effectively collaborate and communicate with others on the Telecommunications Team
    • May assist with CAD design work as needed
    • May assist drone pilots with performing routine maintenance and safety inspections of all drone equipment to ensure its safe operation before flight as well as post-flight inspection; ensures any concerns are properly documented and reported for repair
    • Adhere to company policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements surrounding the services provided to clients
    • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting client commitments and deadlines with an unwavering focus on quality
    • AAS degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management is required; or a minimum of 2 years experience in technical writing in an engineering or inspection environment in lieu of degree
    • Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
    • Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Prior 3D modeling experience is helpful, but not required
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while following detailed work directions, guidelines and client specifications is required
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, while consistently performing quality work and meeting deadlines is required
    • GIS knowledge and/or CAD software experience is helpful, but not required
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.  This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
