POSITION SPECIFICS
Title:  Non Invasive Cardiac Technician
FTE:  Per diem
Schedule: Weekdays - 7:30am - 4:00pm
Holiday Rotation:  None
Weekend Rotation:  None
On Call Requirements:  None
 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Non Invasive Cardiac Technician performs a variety of clinical and clerical duties.  Duties would include the performance of cardiac stress testing, performs EKG’s, Holter and Event monitoring hook-up, file room responsibilities and department receptionist and secretarial duties.
 
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Perform cardiac stress tests.
2. Hook-up Holter and Cardiac Event Monitors
3. Perform both inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms
4. Perform peripheral vascular studies.
5. Retrieve patient exam reports from Meditech and images from PACS.
6. Make CD’s and DVD’s of patient exams at the request of other departments, hospitals and clinics.
7. Digitize films of patient exams into PACS.
8. Transfer patient exams from CD’s and DVD’s from other facilities into PACS.
9. Pull patient comparison studies for the next day’s schedule.
10. Ready and mail patient exams at the request of attorney’s offices.
