    Pharmacy Technician, Part-Time (28-32 hours/week), Full-Time Benefits, Long Term Care Pharmacy

    Location: Sauk City, Wisconsin.
    Position Description:  From out of town?  Only a 25 minutes scenic drive from the West side of Madison, with traffic in your favor!   Part-Time Pharmacy Technician Position with Full-Time Benefits.  We are looking for a friendly and responsible individual to assist Pharmacists in daily pharmacy tasks.  Preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience or Pharmacy Technician Certification.  Long Term Care experience is a plus.  Will be scheduled during daytime hours on weekdays only. 
    *Data entry of prescription information.  Including, but not limited to: drug selection, allergy selection and insurance information.
    *Contacting insurance companies when appropriate
    *Maintaining a clean and safe work space
    *Filling bubble pack/blister card medications. 
    *Answering phone
    *Completing required training
    *Preparing medications for pharmacist to check in an organized manner
    *Ordering drugs and supplies for pharmacy
    *Computer skills
    *Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
    *Ability to work under pressure
    *Math skills adequate for calculating day supply information
    *Excellent interpersonal skills
    *Willingness to receive direction
    *Ability to maintain confidentiality
    *Must be 18 years old
    *High School Diploma or GED required
    *The completion of a physical and drug test
    *Pharmacy Technician experience servicing Long Term Care Facilities is preferred
    *Preferred candidate will have least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience or Pharmacy Technician Certification
    *College Students planning on becoming a Pharmacist, with the ability to continue to work year-round, will also be considered.
