• Rehab Clerk - Rehabilitation Services (Part Time)

    Title: Rehab Clerk
    FTE:   0.75 FTE (30 hours/week)
    Schedule: Weekdays between 7:30am – 5:00pm
    Holiday Rotation: None
    Weekend Rotation: None
    On Call Requirements: None
    Performs administrative tasks for the Rehabilitation Services department.

    1. Provide clerical services as necessary. Maintain copies of materials for distribution.
    2. Collaborate with rehabilitation staff in scheduling patient appointments.
    3. Perform daily reconciliation of rehabilitation charges.
    4. Perform and document equipment cleaning and maintenance schedules.
    5. Perform all supply ordering tasks including ordering, tracking and stocking of supplies.  Communicate to other staff regarding the status of supplies. Maintain clean and orderly supply room following the facility policies.
    6. Perform all linen ordering and stocking for rehabilitation, pool area and massage therapy. Transfer soiled linen from rehabilitation department to housekeeping services.
    7. Maintain equipment and supplies in each therapy treatment room. Restock the supplies in each room appropriately.
    8. Maintain supply of cleaning wipes and Kleenex for rehabilitation services, wellness center, massage and pool area.
    9. Clean and maintain the hydrocollator and freezer per manufacturer guidelines.
    10. Greet and direct, as appropriate, all visitors, and patients, utilizing skills consistent with quality customer service.
    11. Answer phones for Wellness Center and Rehabilitation Department and transfer or communicate all messages appropriately.
    12. Assist with delivery of outgoing and incoming mail.
    13. Follow procedures for opening and/or closing of department as appropriate, including locking or unlocking of doors and cabinets, checking voice mail, emptying confidential paper bins.
    14. Handling of paper charts for therapy including all filing responsibilities.  Breakdown of paper charts at therapy discharge including sorting confidential and non-confidential papers and disposing of appropriately.
    15. Attend required meetings.
