• General Production Worker

    Summary: Performs manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking and cleanliness of department in addition to minimal clerical work on a temporary basis. Other duties may be assigned. This is a temporary, part time position in department 761. 

     

    Employees with the designation of "Temporary Help" are not eligible to participate in any employee benefit programs regardless of the number of hours worked during summer months. These employees are not subject to the annual review process. Employment is temporary and based on the work available in the department.

       

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

     

     

    Language Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.  

     

     

    Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Computer Skills- Able to operate computerized payroll system and possess average ability with personnel computers.
