Meat Packager & Delivery Driver

Full job description

Fox Heritage Foods is hiring a meat packager/order filler and delivery driver. This is a full time position with part of the week spent at the meat plant and the other part spent delivering to customers and picking up needed supplies.

We offer health insurance for full time employees and discounts on meat for all employees. Wages will be based on experience.

Jobs Duties:

• Packaging meat following all company guidelines
• Perform routine inventory of products
• Assist with filling orders and completing product Bills of Lading
• Use computer and printer to create labels for products, following all company guidelines
• Put labels on bags and properly store products in coolers and freezers
• Clean and sanitize work area daily, and when needed, in between handling different products
• Complete daily paperwork, as needed

Necessary Qualifications:

Team player with a positive attitude
Able to speak, read, and write in English
Able to stand for long periods of time, with breaks
Willing and able to work in a refrigerated room, as needed
Adheres to all safety procedures
Good attention to detail
Strong work ethic with reliable transportation
Follows proper cleaning and sanitation requirements

Able to routinely lift 50 pounds
