As many of you know GNC was started over 20 years ago by a dedicated group of volunteers under the guidance of Dr Haaken Carlson. He was inspired by his wife to offer care to the uninsured folks in his own community. Since then we have grown to care for over 2500 patients per year. These trees date back from before the ammunition plant and represent apple varieties that are no longer commercially available. We document, preserve, and transplant trees to honor the farm families who planted them.

We accomplish our mission by matching tutors with adult learners who have reached out to us expressing interest in improving their English language skills. SPALC provides tutor training, teaching materials and ongoing support at no cost to the tutor and no cost to the learner. No prior teaching
