Project Advertisement for Bids: February 2, 2027
Construction Phases
The project will be completed in three phases:
Phase 1: Sauk City Limits (USH 12 to Oak Street)
Estimated start: Late Spring 2027 (most likely Summer 2027)
Phase 2A: Oak Street to Prairie Street
Estimated start: Spring 2028
Phase 2B: Prairie Street to End of Project
Estimated start: Summer 2028
Meetings & Public Engagement

A Public Involvement Meeting and a separate Business Meeting are being planned for this summer.

Dates are not yet finalized but will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.
Real Estate & Property Information

The project plat is currently being amended, and real estate acquisitions are underway.

A Real Estate Blitz is scheduled for April 2 at the Library.
Property owners affected by acquisitions will receive invitations to attend. This meeting is intended to help expedite the real estate process.
Design & Traffic Planning
The project team is currently finalizing designs for traffic flow and pedestrian accommodations. This work will help determine detailed construction staging and provide additional clarity on access and phasing.
