A Year of Impact: Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce – 2025 Year in Review
The past year has been one of measurable progress, collaboration, and community impact. According to the Chamber’s 2025 Year in Review, the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce achieved a 94% member retention rate, well above the industry average, and a 74% member engagement rate across events and initiatives. These numbers demonstrate that members recognize the value of their investment and are actively connected to Chamber programming.
Strengthening Local Business
Membership growth and business support remained central priorities. This year, the Chamber welcomed new businesses, reaching a total of 393 members. Additionally, $62,790 Chamber Bucks were sold, ensuring dollars were reinvested directly into local businesses. The Chamber’s online job postings generated 47,492 job views, and the website received 191,695 visits, connecting residents, visitors, and job seekers with local employers.
Community Impact and Quality of Life Projects
Several major community projects moved forward, demonstrating a commitment to improving quality of life and supporting workforce needs. The Chamber helped open a 168-slot childcare center, easing a long-standing barrier for working families and employers. Construction also began on rent-capped workforce housing, providing affordable living options for essential workers such as teachers and first responders. Funds were raised to support a new baseball and softball quadplex, enhancing youth programming and recreation opportunities.
Expanding Communication and Outreach
Reaching the community in new ways was a significant focus. The Chamber’s communication channels expanded dramatically, including strong growth on social media and email. A new Chamber website will launch on January 5, 2026, and text message alerts will roll out later in the year to further improve accessibility and engagement.
Meaningful Events and Member Connection
Throughout the year, the Chamber hosted 34 events designed to educate, connect, and strengthen local businesses. The Community Expo featured 55 business booths and welcomed more than 500 attendees, while the annual women’s event achieved record-breaking attendance. The Chamber also earned designation as a WEDC Connect Community, unlocking opportunities for education and state-level grant support.
The Year in Review reflects more than activity—it reflects impact. As stated by Chamber leadership, these accomplishments were possible because of strong partnerships, participation, and the willingness of local businesses and community members to work together.
With new tools launching in 2026 and multiple community projects underway, the momentum is strong. The Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to continuing the work of creating a thriving business climate and an even stronger community.
