Crochet is arguably easier to learn, faster, more versatile, more portable, and less expensive than any other textile handcraft.  Once you learn the basic chain and single crochet stitch, the possibilities are endless!  We’ll look at lots of traditional and contemporary examples.  By the end of this half-day workshop you will complete a sampler of stitches including lace, and learn to increase and decrease.  You will leave with a handout that will encourage further exploration.  All materials will be provided.
