Learn practical tips to begin and enhance a meditation practice. We will review different types of meditation and highlight strategies to prepare one’s mind, environment and body to sustain a successful meditation practice.
Class led by Dr. Betty J. Kramer (Lama Chonyi), a Professor Emeritus of Social Work at UW-Madison, Fellow of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism. She is a teacher for Joyful Path Healing Center and is an ordained senior student and Lama within White Conch Dharma Center.
