Groundswell Conservancy and Ferry Bluff Eagle Council invite you to celebrate the addition of 31 acres at Ferry Bluff State Natural Area!
Thanks to many generous donors, along with a grant from the State of Wisconsin Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, this additional land was purchased last fall. Expanding Ferry Bluff will keep development away from a current eagle roost, protect potential roost areas, and restore native ecosystems for myriad other species that inhabit this area.
This celebration is on the newly acquired land on Huerth Road, on the south side of Ferry Bluff. The newly acquired land is located just before Bluff View Canoe Rentals.
There will be a short program with refreshments. Afterward we hope you will join us on a hike up Ferry Bluff for an eagle-eye view of the Wisconsin River valley.
This celebration is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged. Please register online or call us at 608-258-9797 by Friday, May 24th.
