Intro to Yoga
DescriptionFrom the ground up, from inside out, learn how to balance your power and ease in any flow class.
Join Alyssa in this 2-hour workshop, where you will build a strong foundation for a flow yoga practice. This workshop is perfect for students new to flow yoga as well as the experienced yogi who is looking to take their practice to the next level. After a brief discussion on the history and meaning of the practice, we will break down the proper body alignment and variations of key yoga poses and transitions, explore connecting breath with movement, and more. You will emerge feeling capable and confident in your yoga practice.
What to bring: a water bottle; breathable, comfortable clothes that you can move in; and perhaps a towel for sweat (the room will be heated between 85-90 degrees).
