Sauk Prairie Area Food Pantry Distribution
Food Pantry – no changes to distribution this week – same process as last week!
Wednesday, April 8th distribution modifications:- Distribution time will be 5:30 – 6:30
- Any car not in line by 6:30pm will have to wait until the next distribution on Wednesday,
- Distribution will be a drive through pickup
- Patrons will line up on Industry Rd, North side of the road facing West at the entrance of the driveway of the food pantry. Watch for the sandwich board sign.
- This week the traffic control person will have a sign – please read and follow those instructions.
- Just in case you are like me and can’t read without glasses the sign will say:
- STAY IN CAR
- KEEP WINDOW UP
- SHOW MAIL/ID AGAINST WINDOW

- When distribution starts patrons will be directed to drive into the parking lot along the right side of the driveway – AGAIN STAY IN CAR - DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR
- Drive down toward the garage door stopping by the volunteer who will check you in
- The check in volunteer will have a sign – please read and follow those instructions
- Again, just in case you can’t read without glasses the sign will say:
- SHOW MAIL/ID PLEASE
- DO YOU WANT THE FROZEN BAG?
- DO YOU WANT THE KWIK TRIP SWEETS BAG?
- DO YOU WANT THE KWIK TRIP CHICKEN BAG?
- ALL?
- Again, just in case you can’t read without glasses the sign will say:
- The check in volunteer will have a sign – please read and follow those instructions
- This week the traffic control person will have a sign – please read and follow those instructions.
- Please HAVE YOUR trunk/hatchback OPEN so your food box/bags can be placed in your vehicle
- Boxes/bags will again be prepackaged by 2nd Harvest & SPAFP; they will include dry goods, frozen foods and fresh produce (along with a dozen eggs)
- NO SPECIAL REQUESTS
- If you do not have freezer space or much refrigerator space and want to decline the frozen portion tell the volunteer who retrieves your box. (the entire frozen will be pulled from your box)
- As with ALL distributions, this food is for you and should not be given away to your friends or neighbors. If they need help, please refer them to the pantry!
- Once you have received your box/bags the volunteer will close your trunk and you may loop left and out of the parking lot.
