Sauk Prairie Night Out (Formerly Sauk Prairie National Night Out)
Sauk Prairie Night out is an annual event designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit through police, other emergency services and community partnerships. The goal is to heighten crime prevention awareness, understand local anti-crime programs and explore several services and safety topics. Here is some of what you can interact in:
- UW Med Flight Helicopter for families to explore-landing at approximately 6:15pm.
- Internet Crimes Safety - Sauk Prairie Police Department and Safe Community Coalition.
- Texting and Drunk Driving Simulator on the Neighborhood Electric Vehicle - SP Police Dept.
- Personal Safety Reactive Drills for Self Defense - Red Dragon Martial Arts.
- Safe Behaviors Education and information on WI Registered Sex Offenders - WI Dept of Corrections.
- Safe at Home - Safe in the Community - Hope House
- Safely Extinguish Kitchen Stovetop Grease Fire Demonstrations - Sauk City Fire Department.
- High Rope Rescue Simulation - Prairie Du Sac Fire Department.
- First Aid Skills Practice and tour of the ambulance - Sauk Prairie Ambulance
- Bucket Truck - Village of Prairie du Sac
- Bucket Truck - Village of Sauk City
- Child Identification and Fingerprinting - New York Life and Micah Snyder
- Never Leave Your Child or Pet Alone - Sauk Prairie Safe Community Coalition.
