Bill left Penguin Random House in January, 2014 to retire. He will be joined at the Tripp by his wife, Susan Moldow Shinker. Susan is President of the Scribner Book Group and Publisher of Touchstone at Simon and Schuster. They live in Manhattan and Connecticut. Bill's mother is looking forward to the evening on August 27. She hopes to finally figure out what her son has been doing all these years.
