Wrannock returns for another night of Celtic songs and tunes played on tin whistle, guitar, cittern, banjo, bodhran, and mandolin. They’ll relate stories from their travels in the British Isles, especially the Scottish islands of Orkney and Shetland. Angus is home from college out East, where he has been playing with some fine Celtic and contra dance musicians, and this reunion of the popular local family band is one you shouldn’t miss.
House concerts are casual, intimate, solo or small ensemble musical performances designed around the notion of having friends over to your living room to enjoy live music. There is no advance ticket sale, only a $10 suggested donation at the door. All proceeds benefit River Arts Inc. programs.
