    About Us

Fish Tales Restaurant is proud to offer the area's best dining in a friendly, casual atmosphere. Our menu offers something for everyone, including traditional Wisconsin fish fry, steaks, seafood, stone baked pizza, pastas, and kid's menu. We are open 7 nights a week, and all day on Sunday beginning with breakfast from 9am to 12:30pm, lunch menu 1pm-4pm, and dininer at 4pm.

The property has been a mainstay in the Town of West Point. Fish Tales Restaurant was established in the year 2001 after an extensive renovation and reinvention of the former Hickory Hill Resort & Grocery. The location was previously owned by the McAnaugh family, and later became Alice’s Restaurant at Hickory Hill owned and operated by Alice Elser. Hickory Hill included cottage rentals, a store and tavern and had long been a gathering spot for fishing, food and drinks. Many ‘fish tales’ were told over a few cocktails. In 2001 the area began transforming, condos replaced the cabins and the restaurant space was renovated and updated. Fish Tales Restaurant offeres a friendly place to gather in a relaxing supper club atmosphere.
