Situated on Hemlock St. in the southwest corner of Maplewood’s campus. It is an experience like no other; where INDEPENDENT SENIORS WHO ARE LEADING ACTIVE LIVES RESIDE. One side is bordered by a park, which allows the tenants to enjoy a picnic or watch lively activity throughout the day. On the other side is Maplewood’s Health and Rehabilitation Center - which grants tenants’ easy access to rehab services. If a problem arises, tenants have immediate medical attention from nursing staff, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you’ve ever had to wait for on-call services during “after hours”, you realize the benefits of instant help, at all hours of the day. Combine that with the fact that the doctor’s office, ambulance service and hospital are located less than 2 miles away from Maplewood Village and it can literally be the difference between a successful outcome or not. If the need for medical appointments arises, rather than requiring family members to take off work to get a loved one to a medical appointment, our director, who is a nurse, is will willing to transport and go along to a doctor’s visit.
