About Us
The Village of Merrimac is located in Sauk County, on the north shore of Lake Wisconsin. At the 2020 Census, our population was 527. Our claim to fame is the Colsac III, the free ferry that transports vehicles across Lake Wisconsin from about April - November. Each year on the first Saturday in August, Merrimac hosts the Merrimac Community Festival.
