Lots of companies assign new employees a mentor as part of their internal onboarding program. While mentoring is great, it’s not the same as coaching. Both are valuable, but for different reasons. We find that all too often, coaching and mentoring are mistakenly used interchangeably in the workplace. So, here’s how to know whether your organization has a mentoring culture or a coaching one.
