  • Part-Time Shuttle Driver (15-Passenger Van)

    Summary – Under the direction of Human Resources, the Shuttle Driver’s role primarily involves transporting passengers between Prairie Du Sac, WI and Wisconsin Dells, WI, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:

    • Safely operate a 15 Passenger Van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
    • Ensuring attendance during pick-up is completed in a time-efficient manner.
    • Mapping out and traveling the safest route with the least amount of traffic and mileage.
    • Driving the van/vehicle to the destination and following all traffic rules and regulations.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the van, conducting routine inspections before and after each trip. Report any concerns to Human Resources.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and emergency response guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the transportation team to ensure efficient operations.

    Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Other Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol screening. Drug and Alcohol screening will be required immediately after any involvement in a motor vehicle accident.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid Driver’s License

    Other Skills and Abilities - Ability to competently inspect and maintain vehicle logs, supplies and equipment; such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
